Trump Warns Tehran Residents Amid Escalating Iran-Israel Conflict

ISLAMABAD: US President Donald Trump has issued an urgent call for residents of Tehran to evacuate immediately, as the conflict between Iran and Israel continues to intensify.

Posting on his Truth Social platform, Trump reiterated his firm stance: “IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON,” emphasizing his long-standing warnings.

He criticized Iran for not signing a nuclear agreement, calling it a “waste of human life.”

He stated, “Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!”

Meanwhile, French President Emmanuel Macron called for a halt to strikes on civilians in both Israel and Iran.

Speaking at the G7 summit in Canada, Macron warned against attempting regime change in Tehran.

He said bombing foreign nations to “save” them has always failed.

Massive Civilian Toll as Bombardment Escalates

The hostilities surged as Israel expanded its attacks beyond Gaza and launched a full-scale air assault on Iran.

More than 224 Iranian civilians have been killed, with over 1,000 injured.

Israel has reported 24 fatalities, also mostly civilians.

The Israeli military claims the strikes are part of Operation Rising Lion, targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Iranian cities, including Tehran and Natanz, witnessed explosions and activated air defenses in response.

Air raid sirens sounded across Tel Aviv as missiles from Iran targeted Israeli cities.

Though alerts were lifted, Israel confirmed continued detection of incoming attacks.

Tehran has reached out through Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia to request US intervention for a ceasefire.

Iran is reportedly willing to resume nuclear talks if attacks on its soil cease.

Global Reactions and Media Under Fire

The air war, now the most significant between Iran and Israel, has drawn global condemnation.

Twenty Muslim-majority countries, including Pakistan, issued a joint statement urging an end to Israeli aggression.

They stressed the need for a nuclear weapons-free Middle East and full compliance with international non-proliferation laws.

Iranian state TV was hit during a live broadcast, leading to international outcry.

The Committee to Protect Journalists condemned the attack and called for an end to media targeting.

In Haifa, Israel, Iran’s retaliation led to the shutdown of Bazan Group’s refinery, killing three employees.

The war has also disrupted scheduled nuclear negotiations hosted by Oman.

Despite the violence, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth stated Trump still seeks a nuclear deal with Iran.

Iran’s Foreign Minister warned that unless aggression stops, retaliations will persist.

President Trump believes a deal is still likely if Iran agrees to US terms, saying, “Something will happen, or a deal will be signed.
