Islamabad: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has gathered data on more than 100,000 individuals showcasing lavish lifestyles on social media platforms. The authority has announced that those displaying large houses, expensive cars, and jewelry will be required to declare their sources of income in their tax returns.
The FBR emphasized that tax evasion will not be tolerated from those flaunting wealth and warned of strict legal action against offenders. This move aims to broaden the country’s tax base and ensure financial transparency.
