ISLAMABAD: U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has stated that the United States was not involved in the recent military strikes carried out by Israel against Iran.
In an official statement issued Thursday night, Rubio clarified that Israel acted alone and informed Washington in advance.
He emphasized that Israel considered the action a necessary measure for its self-defense.

Rubio stressed that the U.S. remains committed to avoiding further escalation in the Middle East.
He noted that the administration is maintaining close coordination with regional allies to manage the tense situation.
