Lahore: Punjab is bracing for another spell of monsoon rains, which will begin on 28th July and continue until 31st July. Several regions of the province are expected to be affected by heavy rainfall, with the possibility of more severe weather conditions.
The PDMA Punjab has issued an alert regarding the potential risk of landslides in Murree and Galyat due to the anticipated heavy rainfall. Residents and tourists in the hilly areas are advised to monitor the weather closely and take all necessary safety measures.
The rain-affected areas are expected to include Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Gujrat, Hafizabad, and other districts. Additionally, Faisalabad, Jhang, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Nankana Sahib, Chiniot, and southern Punjab regions like Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalpur, Muzaffargarh, Bhakkar, and Rajanpur may also witness significant rainfall.
