California:If you’re tired of seeing just website article links on the Google app, here’s some good news.Google has announced several new features coming soon to its Discover feed, offering users a much richer content experience beyond traditional web articles.
Very soon, users will be able to see posts from social media platforms like Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), as well as watch YouTube Shorts directly within the Discover feed.
A recent blog post from Google explained that while searching on the app, users will get access to a variety of content types, including videos and social media posts, all in one place.
This feature is expected to roll out to users within the next few weeks.
But that’s not all — Google is also introducing enhanced customization options for the Discover feed. Users will be able to follow creators and publishers (those who post web links) to see more content from their favorites.
Additionally, by clicking on a creator’s name, users can preview their social media posts and articles easily.
Previously, Google had also introduced an AI summaries feature to help users get concise overviews of content.
These updates aim to make Google Discover a more dynamic and personalized content hub for users.
