NCCIA registers case against YouTuber Rajab Butt for promoting gambling apps

Lahore : The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has filed a case against well-known YouTuber Rajab Butt for promoting gambling and betting apps through his social media platforms. He is accused of encouraging the public to invest in these illegal apps via videos and advertisements, allegedly resulting in the loss of people’s hard-earned money.

According to the FIR filed by NCCIA, Rajab Butt also served as a brand ambassador for a popular betting app. Despite being issued multiple notices, he failed to appear for inquiry, prompting the agency to initiate legal action against him.

In connection with this crackdown, the National Investigation Agency has also registered cases against two other YouTubers, Anas Ali and Huraira, for similar involvement in the promotion of online gambling.
