Lahore: The Sessions Court in Lahore has issued a formal directive to register a blasphemy case against popular YouTuber Rajab Butt, following a petition submitted by citizen Shehzad Adnan.
Additional Sessions Judge Shafqat Shehbaz Raja has instructed the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) to thoroughly examine the petition under relevant laws and take necessary action.
The petitioner alleged that Rajab Butt’s remarks contained blasphemous content. Despite lodging a complaint with NCCIA earlier, no action had been taken until now.
