Abbottabad: Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir stated that the Afghan Taliban must prevent their territory from being used for terrorist attacks against Pakistan. He warned that Pakistan will eliminate any proxy that attacks its soil.
Addressing the Passing Out Parade at PMA Kakul, Field Marshal Munir emphasized that Pakistan’s armed forces have always given a strong response to the enemy and will continue to defend against any aggression in the future.
He mentioned that India has previously resorted to a politics of blame, fabricating false evidence to cover up its failures. Field Marshal Munir made it clear that if the enemy tries to attack again, Pakistan will respond much more harshly than expected.
He further stated that India is using groups like Fitna al-Hind and Fitna al-Khawarij against Pakistan, but Pakistan’s agencies and security forces are successfully thwarting these conspiracies. He acknowledged the unmatched sacrifices of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan in the fight against terrorism.
The Field Marshal called on the international community to take notice of the ongoing Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir and emphasized that the solution to the Palestine issue should be based on a two-state formula.
Field Marshal Munir also expressed pride in Pakistan’s friendship with China, while noting that the recent defense agreement with Saudi Arabia is a significant milestone for regional stability. He added that Pakistan’s relationship with the United States is being taken to a new level.
He concluded by stating that the enemy is still engaged in conspiracies against Pakistan’s stability, but the morale of the Pakistani people and the preparedness of its armed forces remain as strong as ever. He urged young officers to embrace character, discipline, and truth in their lives.
