Islamabad : Pakistan on Wednesday issued a strong condemnation of the latest wave of Israeli aggression in Gaza, which has once again resulted in the loss of many innocent lives.
In a statement, the Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson emphasized that such actions go against the spirit of the peace agreement signed in Sharm El-Sheikh, which was attended by leaders from the Muslim and Arab world, along with representatives from the United States, Europe, and the United Nations.
Pakistan urged the international community to take swift and decisive action to stop these violations, enforce a ceasefire, and provide protection to the Palestinian people who are facing continuous violence.
Reaffirming Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the Palestinian people, the statement called for an immediate halt to Israeli hostilities and reiterated Pakistan’s consistent position in favor of a fully independent, sovereign, and contiguous Palestinian state, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital within the pre-June 1967 borders.
