Islamabad: A significant political development has unfolded in Azad Kashmir, as the candidate for the new Prime Minister has been officially selected.
According to sources, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has picked Choudhry Yaseen as the nominee for the Prime Ministerial position of Azad Kashmir.
The PPP leadership reached a unanimous decision in favor of Choudhry Yaseen, out of four contenders for the role. The other names considered for the position included Latif Akbar, Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, and Sardar Yaqoob Khan.
The final endorsement of Choudhry Yaseen’s name took place in a meeting led by PPP Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. A formal announcement regarding the nomination is expected to be made later tonight.
