Top TTP commander among 4 Indian-backed terrorists killed in Bajaur as security forces thwart Afghan border infiltration: ISPR

According to ISPR, security forces in Bajaur successfully thwarted an infiltration attempt from the Afghan border through a timely operation. Four terrorists, including the foreign leader Amjad alias Mazahim, were killed in the operation.

Reports indicate that Amjad alias Mazahim was the deputy of foreign terrorist Noor Wali and the head of the leadership council (Shura). A bounty of Rs. 5 million was placed on his head. He had been involved in anti-Pakistan activities from Afghanistan. The leadership of the Khorij group, based in Afghan territory, had been actively involved in attempts to infiltrate into Pakistan.

Security forces have displayed full preparedness in defending the borders and have vowed to continue counterterrorism operations with full force.

The President, Prime Minister, and the Federal Minister for Interior have lauded the bravery and professional performance of the security forces.
