Oxford Union Debate: Pakistani students win against Indian panel with two-thirds majority

London: In a notable event at the prestigious Oxford Union, Pakistani students triumphed over the new Indian panel in a heated debate. Following the absence of key high-profile members of the Indian team, the Indian Union fielded a “second XI” panel, but they were unable to stand their ground against the logical and well-researched arguments presented by the Pakistani team.

The Pakistani team, consisting of Musa Haraj, Israr Khan Kakar, and Ahmed Nawaz Khan, effectively challenged the Indian panel’s “civilizational” and “religious” narrative with solid legal references, statistical evidence, and sound reasoning.

In the voting that followed the debate, Pakistan’s position received nearly two-thirds of the votes, a clear testament to the academic prowess and strong arguments put forward by the young Pakistani students.

Experts and participants observed that the absence of key Indian representatives and the decision to field lesser-known debaters revealed a weakness in their narrative strategy.

The victory by the Pakistani team further reinforced the idea that in intellectual debates, solid reasoning and logical argumentation are far more compelling than personal or national profiles.
