PAF fully prepared and equipped to defend nation’s sovereignty, Air Chief Marshal Sidhu Asserts

In a powerful speech at the graduation ceremony of cadets at PAF Academy Risalpur, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu emphasized the critical role of cooperation between the Army, Navy, and Air Force in securing decisive victories for Pakistan. He stated that should the country’s sovereignty be threatened again, the enemy would face a Pakistan Air Force that is stronger, more modern, and fully prepared.

The Air Chief highlighted Pakistan’s successful use of courage, technical expertise, and advanced technology to overcome an enemy with superior numbers. He particularly praised the PAF’s ability to target and neutralize modern enemy aircraft despite limited resources, underscoring the operational superiority demonstrated during recent conflicts.

Air Chief Sidhu also underscored the responsibility of the graduating cadets to protect Pakistan’s airspace, emphasizing that the nation’s security now rests in their hands. He praised the PAF’s modernization efforts, noting the significant boost in airpower through the Smart Induction Program, which has brought in new fighter jets and cutting-edge technologies.

The ceremony also marked the participation of cadets from the Royal Saudi Air Force, symbolizing the strengthening defense ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Air Chief Sidhu welcomed the Saudi cadets, calling their presence a reflection of the long-term strategic partnership between the two countries.

While reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to peace, the Air Chief stressed that the country would never compromise on its national security. He assured the nation that its leadership, armed forces, and people are united and determined to defend the country’s borders.

The graduation parade also featured a stunning flypast by PAF fighter jets and an impressive aerobatic display by the Sherdil Aerobatics Team, showcasing the PAF’s capabilities and skill.

The inclusion of Saudi cadets in the ceremony highlights the growing defense cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. As Pakistan continues to modernize its military forces, the PAF’s commitment to maintaining technological superiority and operational readiness remains a cornerstone of its future strategy. The Smart Induction Program is set to further enhance Pakistan’s defense position in the region.
