New York : The United Nations has raised serious concerns about the worsening humanitarian situation in Iran and across the Middle East, linking it to ongoing conflicts in the region.
UN spokesperson Tom Fletcher expressed deep worry over the extensive damage caused by the fighting, noting that homes, hospitals, and schools have all been affected by airstrikes and shelling.
Fletcher explained that these attacks have caused widespread civilian suffering, forcing many to flee their homes while leaving essential services and medical care disrupted.
