Islamabad: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a new service that allows Pakistani citizens to apply for their National Identity Cards without the need to visit a NADRA office.
Through NADRA’s advanced online platform, citizens can now request a new ID card, renew an existing one, or update their details from the comfort of their homes. This service is available via the official Pak ID app or website.
According to NADRA, obtaining a new ID card, renewing an old one, or making changes to existing information can now be done through a few simple online steps. The purpose of this service is to save citizens from long queues, unnecessary office trips, and wasted time.
To avail of this service, individuals need to visit the Pak ID app or website, submit their identification details, and complete the biometric verification process. After paying the required fee, the ID card will be delivered directly to their home.
