Islamabad : Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif spoke by phone with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto on Thursday, voicing deep concern over the escalating tensions in the Middle East.
The leaders highlighted the importance of all parties exercising maximum restraint and stressed the need to resolve disputes through constructive dialogue and diplomatic efforts.
PM Shehbaz strongly condemned Israel’s attacks on Iran and criticized the resulting incidents affecting allied Gulf nations. He also briefed President Subianto on Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic outreach with Gulf countries in response to the crisis.
The conversation also covered recent developments in Afghanistan, with both leaders agreeing to maintain close communication over the coming days to coordinate efforts and promote regional stability.
