Russia allegedly gives Iran data on US forces, says report

Washington : According to a report by The Washington Post, Russia is allegedly supplying Iran with critical intelligence to assist attacks on US military assets in the Middle East. Three US intelligence officials confirmed the information, raising concerns about escalating regional tensions.

The report indicates that Russia is sharing real-time data on the movements and locations of US warships and aircraft, which appears to have enhanced the accuracy of Iranian strikes on radars and command centers. Analysts note that these attacks have strained US missile defense systems, depleting interceptors and creating operational challenges.

Experts suggest that Iran is increasingly relying on Russian satellite intelligence, compensating for gaps in its own surveillance capabilities. Observers also believe that Russia’s involvement could be a strategic move to weaken both US and Israeli defense networks, as some Iranian strikes have reportedly impacted joint US-Israel systems, highlighting rising tensions among global powers.
