X introduces new earning tools for creators, including exclusive threads

California : Social media platform X (formerly Twitter), owned by Elon Musk, has rolled out new features to help creators monetize their content more effectively.

The platform’s latest updates focus on Creator Subscriptions, providing multiple ways for users to generate income. The standout feature is Exclusive Threads, which acts as a subscription-based paywall. Subscribers can access full posts, while teaser content is available to the general audience, encouraging more sign-ups.

Creators will also benefit from a new dashboard, shareable subscription cards, and other tools aimed at expanding their reach and revenue potential.

Recently, X introduced the Paid Partnership Label, marking posts that include sponsored content to increase transparency and earning opportunities.

Exclusive Threads is expected to be the most impactful of the new tools, as it allows creators to directly monetize individual posts. These updates build on X’s Creator Revenue Sharing Program, launched globally in 2023, which enables users to earn from their popular posts.
