Islamabad : Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has taken formal notice of a complaint submitted by Transparency International Pakistan against Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) over alleged breaches of Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) regulations.
A statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said the complaint highlights reported irregularities in tendering procedures and potential violations of procurement rules.
The prime minister has instructed the concerned authorities to conduct a thorough inquiry into the issue.
He further stated that if the allegations are proven during the investigation, strict disciplinary measures should be taken against those found responsible.
