The Punjab Cabinet, under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, made several significant decisions in a recent meeting, including the formal ratification of the ban on the banned organization Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP).
The meeting also approved the recruitment of “School Teacher Interns” in government schools and rejected a proposal to increase fares for electric buses.
Additionally, the Cabinet approved the Punjab Protection of Ownership of Immovable Property Ordinance 2025 and granted permission for the establishment of Air Punjab Private Limited.
Furthermore, the Cabinet gave approval for the “Mahraab Safe and Bright Punjab” project and decided to lay the foundation stone for the Gujranwala Mass Transit Authority.
These measures aim to promote law and order, improve transportation, enhance education, and provide better public services in the province.
