CM Maryam Nawaz announces deployment of 55,000 health inspectors across Punjab for better healthcare

Lahore : Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has revealed that 55,000 community health inspectors will be deployed across the province to ensure top-tier healthcare services for residents.

Speaking at the passing-out ceremony for community health workers in Lahore, Maryam Nawaz emphasized that these inspectors will be equipped with digital tablets to compile comprehensive health profiles for every household.

The collected data will be entered into a disease-monitoring portal, enabling authorities to track emerging health trends and take prompt action as needed, the CM stated.

Additionally, Maryam Nawaz highlighted the operation of over 1,000 “Clinics on Wheels” across Punjab, which bring medical services directly to the streets and neighborhoods, ensuring that healthcare is accessible to all, regardless of location.
