US and Israeli airstrikes in Tehran kill relatives of Iranian Supreme Leader: report

Tehran: Tehran witnessed a series of deadly airstrikes reportedly carried out by the United States and Israel, resulting in the deaths of close relatives of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

According to news agencies, the strikes claimed the lives of Khamenei’s son Mojtaba’s wife, Zahra Haddad, and his son-in-law, Alhoda Bagheri.

Eyewitnesses reported loud explosions and smoke rising from the targeted areas. Several videos and images have emerged on social media, showing significant damage at the sites of the strikes. The incident has caused panic among residents, prompting Iranian authorities to immediately tighten security in key parts of the capital.

Iranian officials condemned the attacks in strong terms, accusing the United States and Israel of deliberate aggression. Authorities emphasized that all necessary measures are being taken to protect citizens and high-ranking officials. The strikes come amid heightened tensions in the region, raising concerns about potential escalation and international implications.

Global observers are closely monitoring the situation, warning that further military actions could destabilize the already fragile security environment in the Middle East. Tehran’s government has urged the international community to respond and intervene to prevent further loss of life and regional instability.
