Islamabad : The Pakistan Army continued its offensive against Afghan Taliban fighters and Fitna al-Khawarij militants under Operation Ghazab lil-Haq.
Security sources reported that the military swiftly targeted an Afghan Taliban position near Shawal in South Waziristan, forcing militants to retreat. The post was subsequently destroyed using explosives.
In a separate operation, Pakistani forces struck the Shaheen Base in Afghanistan’s Paktika province, completely demolishing an ammunition storage facility, according to officials.
Operations remain active along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, with security forces systematically targeting militant hideouts and infrastructure linked to the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij.
