Tehran : Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said that additional military action will not accomplish what years of sanctions and armed conflict have failed to achieve.
Speaking in a statement, Araghchi said Iranian forces are carrying out defensive measures against facilities linked to the United States, describing the operations as part of Iran’s efforts to safeguard its interests.
He warned that Tehran would respond promptly and firmly to any hostile action, stressing that any aggression against Iran would be met with a strong and immediate reaction.
His remarks come as tensions between Iran and the United States continue to rise, with both sides accusing each other of launching attacks, further fueling uncertainty and strain in relations between the two countries.
