Islamabad : Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with his Indonesian counterpart to discuss bilateral relations, regional developments and a range of issues of shared interest.
During the call, the two foreign ministers reviewed the current regional situation and exchanged views on significant political and diplomatic developments at both the regional and international levels.
The discussion also covered recent diplomatic contacts between the United States and Iran, with the two sides sharing their perspectives on the evolving situation and other key matters of mutual concern.
The Indonesian foreign minister praised Pakistan’s constructive contribution to efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability in the region and appreciated Islamabad’s positive role in addressing regional challenges.
Both ministers agreed to remain in close contact and maintain coordination on matters of mutual interest. They also reiterated their commitment to expanding cooperation between Pakistan and Indonesia in various important sectors.
The conversation underscored the two countries’ shared interest in strengthening their longstanding bilateral relationship and enhancing coordination on regional and global issues.
