Meta introduces AI assistant in Facebook dating to enhance user experience

California – In a major technological advancement, Meta has introduced a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) assistant in its Facebook Dating service, aiming to make the dating experience simpler, more effective, and engaging for users.

The new AI assistant will help users optimize their profiles based on their preferences and assist in finding suitable matches. Users will be able to directly ask the AI for help — for example: “I want to talk to a girl interested in technology.”

Meta has also launched a new feature called “Match Cute”, which uses AI algorithms to provide users with a surprise match every week. The goal is to reduce decision fatigue and the mental exhaustion often associated with frequent use of dating apps.

According to recent data, match rates among users aged 18 to 29 on Facebook Dating have increased by 10% compared to last year, and thousands of new profiles are being created on the platform every month.

However, Facebook Dating still lags behind popular platforms like Tinder and Hinge, with Tinder boasting 50 million daily active users and Hinge exceeding 10 million.

Meta says the new AI assistant and features like “Match Cute” will play a vital role in making Facebook Dating a more personalized, enjoyable, and distinctive platform.
