ISLAMABAD: Olympic champion Tom Daley has shared his dream casting choice for a potential biopic about his life — and he has his eyes set on none other than actor Tom Holland.
Daley made the revelation during a recent episode of the Just for Variety podcast, while promoting his newly released documentary Tom Daley: 1.6 Seconds, which began streaming on June 1.
Daley, a five-time Olympic medalist who retired last year, believes that Holland’s athletic background and energy make him the perfect fit to portray him on screen.
The retired diver also noted a striking similarity between himself and the Spider-Man star, especially in terms of physicality and personality.

Tom Daley explained his choice, saying, “Tom Holland. He’s got the gymnastic-y vibe. I feel like we’re quite similar in that. So I reckon Tom Holland could maybe do that.” The comment came while Daley was discussing his journey and achievements featured in his documentary.
