Washington / Tehran: Iran has launched its nineteenth wave of retaliatory attacks against Israel following continued airstrikes by the United States and Israel on Iranian territory. Officials in Tehran reported that the operation involved more than 40 missiles and drones targeting American and Israeli military installations. Iran claimed that ten drones from the US and Israel were destroyed and issued a warning that any attempt to force regime change could trigger strikes on Israeli nuclear sites.
In the United States, the Senate rejected a resolution aimed at compelling President Donald Trump to stop military actions against Iran. The vote ended 52-47, reflecting continued political backing for the ongoing military campaign.
Israeli forces conducted air raids across multiple cities in Iran, including Tehran, causing widespread destruction. In Lebanon, Israeli strikes left three dead and six injured, with total fatalities now reported at 75.
Saudi Arabia confirmed that its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed three incoming cruise missiles near Al-Kharj, with no injuries reported.
Hezbollah’s deputy leader Naim Qassem declared that the region has entered open conflict. He said Hezbollah had targeted Israeli military positions and emphasized that Israel’s withdrawal from Lebanon is a key requirement for regional peace.
