Haripur: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has stated that, thanks to the prayers of the nation and the bravery of Pakistan’s armed forces, India was taught a historical lesson that the Modi government will never forget. He referred to the war fought between May 6 to 10, in which Pakistan achieved a great victory, enhancing the country’s international respect and standing.
The Prime Minister paid tribute to the sacrifices made by the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, saying that Pakistan’s continued existence is due to their decades-long fight against terrorism. He emphasized that history will always remember these sacrifices.
Shahbaz Sharif also highlighted the importance of national unity for the country’s development, stressing that the journey to prosperity cannot be limited to just one province. He urged that all four provinces work together for a stronger Pakistan, adding that the youth of the nation are key to its development. He announced that more laptops will be distributed on merit across the province to support the younger generation.
Regarding Pakistan’s economy, the Prime Minister reassured that the country is emerging from turbulent times and stabilizing. Efforts for economic growth at the micro-level are ongoing. He also praised the bravery and courage of the Pakistan Armed Forces for their role in safeguarding the nation.
