LAHORE: Pakistan’s top cricketers Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, Haris Rauf, and Shadab Khan have registered for the upcoming Big Bash League (BBL) draft.
The draft will take place on June 19 and will cover both BBL 15 and WBBL 11 seasons.
Over 600 international players have signed up to participate, highlighting the event’s global appeal.
Pakistan Women’s team captain Fatima Sana is also among the registered players for the women’s draft, marking a strong presence for Pakistan in both categories.
Key International Players in the Draft
The initial BBL 15 list includes international stars such as West Indies’ Shamar Joseph, New Zealand’s Lockie Ferguson and Tim Southee, England’s Sam Curran and Alex Hales, and Sri Lanka’s Kusal Perera.
For the WBBL 11 draft, notable players include England’s Heather Knight, Lauren Bell, Danni Wyatt, and Sophie Ecclestone.
Other key names are India’s Jemimah Rodrigues and Shikha Pandey, South Africa’s Shabnim Ismail and Chloe Tryon, and West Indies’ Deandra Dottin.
