اسلام آباد: وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے آذربائیجان کے یومِ فتح کی چھٹی سالگرہ پر صدر الہام علیوف اور وہاں کے عوام کو مبارکباد دی ہے۔
اپنے پیغام میں وزیراعظم نے کہا کہ 8 نومبر آذربائیجان کی قوم کی بہادری، عزم اور قربانیوں کی یادگار ہے، جس کے نتیجے میں تقریباً تین دہائیوں بعد ملک کی علاقائی خودمختاری بحال ہوئی۔
شہباز شریف نے اس کامیابی کے لیے قربانیاں دینے والے شہدا کو خراجِ عقیدت پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ گزشتہ سال باکو میں یومِ فتح کی پریڈ میں صدر الہام علیوف کے ساتھ شرکت دونوں ممالک کی مضبوط دوستی اور قریبی تعلقات کا اظہار تھی۔
وزیراعظم نے آذربائیجان کی مسلسل ترقی اور خوشحالی کے لیے نیک تمناؤں کا اظہار کیا اور امید ظاہر کی کہ جنوبی قفقاز میں پائیدار امن اور مشترکہ خوشحالی کا دور آئے گا۔
On the sixth anniversary of Victory Day, I extend my warmest felicitations to my dear brother, President @presidentaz Ilham Aliyev, and to the brave and brotherly people of Azerbaijan.
November 8 stands as a historic testament to the courage, resolve and sacrifice of the Azerbaijani nation, which restored its territorial integrity after nearly three decades. We pay heartfelt tribute to the martyrs whose sacrifices made this triumph possible.
Pakistan was proud to stand with Azerbaijan then, and we stand with Azerbaijan always. Last year’s Victory Day Parade in Baku, where I had the honour of joining President Aliyev, captured the unbreakable bond between our nations.
May Azerbaijan continue to rise from strength to strength, and may the South Caucasus move toward lasting peace and shared prosperity.
