Islamabad/Beijing: In a pivotal meeting underscoring one of Asia’s most enduring partnerships, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi sat down with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, to reaffirm the deep-rooted bond between their nations.
The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted Wang Yi’s remarks that Pakistan’s military stands as a vital pillar of stability and a vigilant guardian of the cherished friendship and strategic cooperation between Pakistan and China.
Wang Yi praised the Pakistani army’s unwavering dedication to implementing critical agreements forged at the highest levels of leadership, crediting it for bolstering the partnership even amid a turbulent and uncertain global environment.
