Global Competition Comes to India
The prestigious event, hosted by former Miss World Stephanie del Valle and Indian presenter Sachiin Kumbhar, saw Ethiopia’s Hasset Dereje Admassu claim first runner-up position. India’s representative Nandini Gupta made it to the final 20 but didn’t advance further, despite the home crowd’s enthusiastic support. This marks the second consecutive year India has hosted the international competition.
Thailand Celebrates Historic Win
Chuangsri’s victory continues Asia’s strong showing in recent pageants, following in the footsteps of six Indian winners including iconic figures like Aishwarya Rai and Priyanka Chopra. The Bangkok native impressed judges with her poise, intelligence and commitment to social causes, particularly her advocacy for education accessibility in developing nations.
The event concluded with a spectacular cultural showcase celebrating India’s diversity, setting the stage for next year’s competition which organizers announced will return to European soil after two years in Asia.
