ISLAMABAD: The Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF) has successfully placed over 100 Pakistani graduates in Saudi Arabia’s construction and hospitality sectors.
This achievement is part of the Tabeer–International Placement program, a key initiative under the Chief Minister’s Skilled Punjab Program.
The program offers a comprehensive one-window solution, managing every step from skills development to job placement and visa processing.
By collaborating closely with Saudi employers, PSDF ensures that training aligns with industry demands, providing candidates with internationally recognized certifications and confirmed job offers before departure.
Empowering Youth through Skill Development
PSDF’s approach begins with identifying specific skill requirements in the target sectors. Candidates undergo rigorous training, including technical and soft skills, tailored to meet employer expectations.
Post-training assessments are conducted jointly by PSDF and Saudi employers to ensure candidates meet the necessary standards. Successful candidates receive job offers, visa assistance, and travel support, facilitating a seamless transition to employment abroad.
Expanding Global Opportunities
Building on the success of the initial placements, PSDF plans to expand the Tabeer program to other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and additional sectors such as healthcare and retail.
This expansion aims to increase the number of placements and strengthen Pakistan’s position in the global talent marketplace.
By equipping youth with the skills and opportunities to work abroad, PSDF contributes to economic growth through remittances and enhances the employability of Pakistani graduates on the international stage.
