California: Instagram has rolled out exciting new updates to its Reels camera, making it easier for users to create and edit videos. The new features allow users to record videos up to 20 minutes long directly from the Reels camera, significantly expanding the previous 1-minute limit.
According to tech websites, one of the key updates is the introduction of an “Undo” option, allowing users to easily remove any clip they’ve added to a reel. Additionally, a new slider has been added in the “Touch Up” mode, giving users more control over filter intensity and polish levels.
Instagram has also improved its Green Screen feature, enabling users to make background changes more accurately and smoothly. Moreover, video recording has become even more seamless with enhanced countdown and timing tools.
While this update increases the video length limit, Instagram’s algorithm still favors videos under 3 minutes for better visibility, meaning longer videos may not gain as much reach. However, this feature is particularly beneficial for users creating series, tutorials, or storytelling content.
With these new updates, Instagram is enhancing its video creation tools, offering users more creative possibilities and making the platform even more engaging for content creators.
