Islamabad : Pakistan and Türkiye have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation for regional peace during a high-level meeting held in the capital on Friday.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met Türkiye’s Ambassador to Pakistan Irfan Neziroglu at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where both sides held comprehensive discussions on mutual interests and evolving regional developments.
During the meeting, the Turkish envoy conveyed warm regards from President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and appreciated Pakistan’s continued diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability in the Middle East. He noted that Türkiye values Pakistan’s constructive engagement in addressing regional challenges.
In response, Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s consistent stance in favour of sustainable peace in the Middle East, saying that Islamabad remains actively engaged through diplomatic efforts to support stability in the region.
He also highlighted the strong coordination and regular high-level exchanges between the two countries, describing them as a reflection of the deep-rooted brotherly ties between Pakistan and Türkiye. The deputy prime minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s resolve to further expand its strategic partnership with Ankara across multiple sectors.
Both sides expressed satisfaction over the positive momentum in bilateral relations and agreed to maintain close collaboration to jointly address regional and global issues.
