Mumbai: Recently, social media platforms were flooded with claims that filmmaker Farah Khan and actress Deepika Padukone have unfollowed each other on Instagram, fueling speculation about a possible fallout between the two.
Some posts went further to suggest that Deepika’s husband, Ranveer Singh, had also unfollowed Farah Khan. The rumors reportedly stemmed from Farah Khan’s sarcastic comments regarding Deepika’s recent “eight-hour work shift” approach.
However, Farah Khan quickly put these allegations to rest by responding in the comment section of an Instagram post, calling the rumors “nonsense” and asking people to focus on more meaningful things.
Insiders have confirmed that the relationship between Deepika and Farah remains warm and cordial. It’s notable that Farah Khan directed Deepika’s first film, “Om Shanti Om,” and the duo also collaborated on the blockbuster “Happy New Year.”
As for the “eight-hour work shift” topic, Farah Khan had only made lighthearted remarks about it in her vlogs, which were misunderstood by some as serious criticism.
Ultimately, the unfollow saga on Instagram appears to be a false narrative with no basis in reality, and there is no evidence of any discord between the celebrated stars.
