Islamabad : The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has notified a 2.63% increase in the prices of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for the month of September.
According to the OGRA notification, the price of LNG on the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) system has been raised by $0.28 per MMBTU, bringing the new rate to $12.01 per MMBTU. Similarly, the LNG price on the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) system has also been increased by $0.28, setting it at $11.01 per MMBTU.
This price hike follows a previous increase of 1.46% last month. As a result, consumers across the country are expected to witness a further rise in their monthly electricity and gas bills.
